I'm a storyteller who is born and raised in Malaysia and has an education from the United States. My international status does not hold me back, but gives me a unique perspective on life and fuels creativity in my work.

As a master's in journalism graduate and a news producer, I have excelled in both the academic and practitioner sides of journalism. Being able to experience the best of both worlds have made me a journalist that is more informed and all-rounded.

News producing will always be my first love, but I have found a new passion of researching journalism well-being through my graduate school journey. My M.A. thesis examined burnout among Generation Z journalists, a topic I found interest in after my own experiences working in newsrooms.

My hope is that I can help advocate for the well-being of journalists around the world -- If we do not take care of our journalists, who else is left to serve our communities?
